The conductors used in our reactors are custom-designed, made of our own wire and cable. Size and insulation types are made according to customer specifications. Our design focuses on ensuring maximum flexibility, as well as providing optimal overall performance.
To do this, we use an epoxy-impregnated fiberglass packaging to encapsulate each conductor, combining a horizontal and vertical structure for high mechanical strength and reducing reactor vibration. A low-rate water absorption epoxy curing is also used to improve mechanical strength, ensuring that the reactor will maintain composure under permitted operating temperatures.
Our cable insulation is custom-designed to:
- Strengthen coil integrity.
- Minimize turn-to-turn voltage stress.
- Prevent moisture ingress.
- Improve the overall reliability of the reactor’s insulation system.
